About the role
We a Document Controller/ Senior Document Controller for one of our high profile Civil/Rail Projects south of the river. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
Expedite the review and approval of documentation, including designs, procedures, instructions, product certification and records.
Plan, supervise and record document flow to and from all necessary parties, including clients, subcontractors/consultants and the project office.
Issue and track location of all documents and drawings. Issue transmittals and provide reporting concerning the documents in circulation.
Remove obsolete documents from distribution and use. Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Liaise with various project stakeholders relating to Document Control queries/training.
Participate in the planning of projects as required.
Assist wider team members with system issues, document formation and other process requirements.
Assist in the implementation/training of systems in use on the project.
About you
Document Control experience in an Engineering / Construction environment.
Experience with Document Management systems (Asite or TeamBinder etc).
Sound understanding and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
A high level of organisational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
A collaborative and results-driven attitude toward work.
