Job Title: Document Controller
Location: Perth based
Length of Contract: Initial 12 months contract (view to go permanent)
Hours: 8 hour days
Roster: Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP (May 2024)
Pay Rate / Level: 3 + years Doc Control experience
About The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Document Controller to join the Major Projects team, based in our client's Perth office.
We are seeking a self-motivated team member with excellent communication skills who can prioritise work according to business drivers and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves robust participation and interaction with Study Managers, Project Managers, Lead Package Engineers, Contracts and Procurement team, Service Providers, Vendors and Stakeholders in order to: Properly control Company and project related documentation.
Follow and improve document control procedures applied to all project phases.
Ensure incoming and outgoing documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.
Maintain efficient information management through systematic sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of the company.
Produce regular and ad hoc reports to various stakeholders.
Attend and conduct regular information management reviews with stakeholders and document audits.
Timely release of shared documents to project stakeholders to support and facilitate project targets and completion and maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
Reporting directly to the Manager Project Delivery Services and is assigned to project teams for study development and/or project delivery of major capital projects.
About You:
To be successful for this role, you will have:
At least 3 years' experience in project document control ideally within a resources environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of document control applications such as FusionLive or Teambinder.
Sound understanding of project document control processes and techniques.
Understanding project management and engineering methodologies throughout the project lifecycle, specifically in the areas of study development and project delivery.
Excellent interpersonal, organization and writing skills.
Highly organized, ability to multi-task and good attention to details.
