Mills Recruitment is seeking a Document Controller to join our client for a 6-month contract.
Our client is a leader in delivering large-scale, high-impact projects across Australia, including mines, LNG installations, refineries, power stations, and telecom infrastructure.
About the Role:   As a Document Management Support professional, you will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation.
You will ensure the timely and accurate processing, distribution, retrieval, and storage of project documents, contributing to the overall success of key projects.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure document management procedures are effective and meet project requirements.
Work with the document management lead to establish and improve document control processes, workflows, and quality monitoring methods.
Prepare monthly progress reports for management, providing insights into the efficiency of document management processes.
Ensure proper document revision control and formatting, as well as adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements for record keeping.
Regularly interface with internal and external customers, addressing documentation issues and inquiries.
Maintain and archive documents according to established procedures and ensure data accuracy.
What We're Looking For: A qualification in a STEM-related field or specialised courses in document management, engineering, or related disciplines, with 4-6 years of experience.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven experience in project document management, including handling customer interfaces and maintaining records.
Knowledge of the EPC industry and regulatory standards related to record keeping.
Proficiency in using document management systems and tools for tracking, storage, and archival.
Familiarity with quality assurance programs and document control requirements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
