The Opportunity As the Document Controller you will be responsible for ensuring accurate information is published and communicated across the business in a timely manner, creating a database of content the business trusts within the governance and compliance framework. This role forms an integral part of the business, providing expert services and support in ensuring consistent and standardised data & content management that is adopted via assurance and control processes.
 
Key accountabilities will include: Administration of the relevant Business Information Systems (EDMS / ECMS) Manage corporate, projects and operations controlled documents per the document control procedure Assist business users in locating, maintaining, and distributing documentation in the relevant systems Register and process documentation from internal and external sources Develop, track and maintain deliverables registers  Ensure currency of controllable documents by managing the review process Set up and maintain a controlled hard copy set of drawings for construction activities as required Register and process vendor data where necessary for review, approval and return  Transmit ad hoc data to contractors and/or sub-contractors as requested by the site team  Run reports as requested for both internal and external parties  Provide training and be the focal point for all document control related matters About You We are looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder who enjoys taking initiative and really likes to be part of a team and a growing organization. You have exceptional organizational skills and enjoy multi-tasking and solving problems.
Furthermore, you will have:
Previous experience in a document control position within the engineering sector  Use of document management systems e.g - Aconex and SharePoint or similar systems  Contractor and vendor management experience Understanding of industry best practices and quality standards Exposure to project and change management principles surrounding asset lifecycle Demonstrated analytical, evaluation, problem-solving and reporting experience. Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills. A team player with exceptional organisation skills.
