Records Management & Document Control (Administration & Office Support) Full time Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner and developer of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth's Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, as well as operating and maintaining common use facilities.
There is an opportunity for a Document Controller to join ANI's Project team in the city office. Reporting to the Document Control & Systems Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective control of documentation for the project and contributing to continuous process improvement.
In this role, your duties will include: Ensuring compliance with document control processes and proceduresCollaboration with the project and cross-functional teams ensuring milestones are metEnsuring project documentation is processed accurately and efficientlyProviding support and guidance to the project team on document control practicesAssisting with training of project personnel in the document control system and requirementsYou will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a document controller in a project construction/engineering environment. You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and sound organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
You will have strong computer literacy with experience in document management systems and business applications including MS 365. Prior experience in the use of Aconex would be an advantage.
