As a Senior Document Control professional, you will oversee the Document Control function on large and complex projects. You'll serve as the primary interface between project personnel and clients for any document control matters. Additionally, you may specialize in system functions. Your responsibilities include accurately logging, managing, and issuing project documentation via the Electronic Document Management System. It's essential to maintain a comprehensive database of all document revisions issued during a project's lifespan, including metadata for each record and documentation distributed to relevant companies.
What you'll do: We're seeking a Senior Document Control professional to join our Perth team.
Your role responsibilities include:
Establishing and initiating new projects in alignment with client requirements.Demonstrating autonomy, proactiveness, and a focus on goals and results, with meticulous attention to detail.Managing multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.Serving as the primary contact point for the project team, clients, and third parties.Developing, maintaining, and implementing project plans, procedures, and work instructions for the Document Control team.Allocating tasks and responsibilities to team members, prioritizing Document Control activities, and ensuring project requirements are met.Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.What you'll have Tertiary education graduate or equivalent, with relevant experience in a specialized area.Extensive years of relevant experience in an engineering or construction office.Pursuing or completing a recognized tertiary qualification such as a Diploma in Information Management or Information Systems.Advanced proficiency in EDMS, Document Control processes, and procedures within an engineering or construction environment.Extensive experience in Document Control on large and complex projects, including team supervision.Demonstrated commitment to personal well-being, safety, and environmental performance.Comprehensive understanding of Document Control processes throughout project lifecycles and their value delivery to stakeholders.Ability to work autonomously with strong managerial skills.Highly developed organizational, attention to detail, and coordination abilities.Builds effective business relationships, communicates clearly, and encourages feedback.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.Why you should apply
