Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other.
Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.
SRL is more than a rail project.

About the opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Document Control Lead to head up the Document Control function for Work Package G (Linewide).
Works include tunnel and cross passage fit out, power supply, rail systems, signalling and integration, rolling stock, and depot and maintenance facilities at the Stabling Facility in Heatherton.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Management Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in:
Leading a team of project-based Document Controllers Working closely with project teams to fully understand business needs with the aim of ensuring the best possible information management frameworks are effectively utilised Promoting the use of correct document and information management processes and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement Providing guidance and training to staff on document and information management matters Coordinating the deployment, maintenance and decommissioning of the Information Exchange Systems for projects including configuration, testing, training and quality assurance activities Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels to ensure efficiency of information exchange and that records are appropriately captured Resourcing backfills for site-based document controllers for significant absences or periods of peak demand Developing document control related material including policies, plans, procedures, manuals and guidelines This is an ongoing, full-time role.
You will work in a hybrid work model with access to a range of flexible working arrangements.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in leading and managing teams Expertise in deploying, maintaining and decommissioning Bentley ProjectWise or other information exchange systems within a large infrastructure or construction project environment Knowledge of the information exchange processes used in the construction environment Knowledge of business analysis concepts used to capture and translate process requirements and subsequent process improvements Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and write targeted documentation appropriately Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement resulting solutions Ability to meet strict timelines and work under pressure while ensuring details are not overlooked and time management Benefits: Generous leave entitlements An emphasis on work-life balance High-performing team environment Equal opportunity employer Personal and professional development opportunities Committed to safety and wellbeing Training and development opportunities Our People Strategy and Gender Equality Action Plan are designed to enhance diversity in our workplace through targeted attraction strategies.
