Docksafe has an exciting role(Based in Singleton) available within our national service management team to coordinate & support our field service technicians who operate throughout Australia. Our core business is the service, supply and installation of Loading Dock Equipment including dock levellers, roller doors, gates, barriers and more.
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly organised individual with strong management and administrative skills. This role requires someone with experience managing field service staff, excellent attention to detail, and a keen understanding of process and systems improvement.
ABOUT YOU:
2 + years' experience in field servicing (or related) position/s 3+ years in a field service/operational management role Technical knowledge/understanding of loading dock equipment(incl doors, gates, barriers & more) Certification in mechanic/hydraulics/electrical will be beneficial Desire to develop, lead and coach a high performing team A sharp focus on efficiency, resource utilization, and time management A proven track record of working toward strategic growth and revenue goals. A passion for bringing people together and helping them succeed. Enthusiasm to learn and develop the skills needed to excel in our industry Self discipline and attention to detail Highly organised & efficient Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced service business Availability for taking calls and booking jobs/assigning resources after hours THE ROLE
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a nationwide vision for the Service Department, aligned with organizational goals. Lead initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Provide strategic insights in executive meetings, driving decisions and improvements. Customer Service Excellence: Refine and oversee the customer service strategy to ensure timely, professional support across all regions. Address escalated issues, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with organisational standards. Technical and Operational Management : Provide high-level technical expertise in troubleshooting and managing technician schedules across multiple locations. Oversee our operations to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop National Team. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative, motivated team environment. Performance and Process Improvement : Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies. Analyze and report on team performance metrics, collaborating across departments to optimize service processes and outcomes. Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with senior management, sales, and marketing to support sales initiatives and customer engagement.
