With a proud 125-year history as a 100% Aussie-owned company, we have grown into an iconic brand with a nationwide network of 200 stores. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at our Arncliffe Head Office and contribute to our continued success.
In this full-time role, you will play a crucial role in coordinating various warehouse & mailroom activities.
This will include receiving and distributing Head Office supplies and packages, as well as the dispatch of store consumables and fixtures.
What you'll do Collecting or delivering packages to & from depots, suppliers or customers as required.Unpacking, checking and receipt of deliveries.Processing outbound mail and packages & assisting internal staff with mail services as required.Distribution of stock, consumables and supplies equipment to stores.Coordination of courier collections and completion of manifests.Occasional heavy lifting of boxes, up to 20kg.Maintaining inventory records.Securing the dock by performing opening or closing duties as scheduled.Processing of customer returns.What we offer Ongoing development: ongoing training, support, and growth opportunities.Work/life balance: with a strong culture that is inspired by family values, we have a strong focus on work/life balance with reasonable work hours.Discounts: an extremely favourable staff discount.Supportive environment: work with a strong and supportive team, with ongoing recognition and a real sense of ownership of your work.What will make you successful Previous warehouse or mailroom experience is highly desirable.A current and valid driver's license.Well organised, with proven attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.Basic skills in MS Office Suite.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the internal team and external stakeholders.Advertised: 01 Nov 2024 AUS Eastern Daylight Time
