Job Title: Executive Chef We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and executing menu development, kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities: Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to create menus that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profiles and exceed customer expectations.Kitchen Operations: Oversee all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring timely service and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare a variety of dishes, including traditional North Indian specialties like Parathas, Pakodas, Soya Champ, Seekh Kebabs, and Lamb Chops, as well as authentic South and Indo-Chinese dishes.Sauce and Seasoning: Develop and prepare basic sauces, such as Vegetable Sauce, Butter Sauce, Kadai Sauce, Palak Sauce, and Korma Sauce, to enhance the flavor and authenticity of our dishes.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate kitchen stock inventory, order supplies, and regulate temperature settings on ovens, grills, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and food quality.Team Management: Train and standardize recipes, oversee food preparation, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional results. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior chef or executive chef role.Familiarity: Awareness of food safety and quality assurance protocols.Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Compensation: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year (Plus Superannuation)
