We are looking for a qualified Economic Development Business Partner to work with our operations either full or part time or on contract to deliver on our strategic economic aspirations.
Duties will include the expectation to:
Develop a tailored economic development plan that clearly aligns to Djabugay priorities and base all agenda on the priorities within that plan.
Develop a model approach that ensures local expertise and knowledge that drives activity.
Develop decision making matrices around the value of engagement with targeted external parties including value propositions for Djabugay in short- and longer-term agenda before engaging.
Evidence pursuit and engagement of relevant corporate partners and commercial enterprise.
Evidence embedding of sustainable employment opportunities based on Djabugay priorities within all partnership enterprises.
Engage and manage targeted training programs to support capacity in commercial arrangements and business enterprise.
Evidence liaison with external businesses and stakeholders based on Djabugay priorities.
Create sustainable business opportunities with Djabugay people and between external stakeholders.
Ensure cohesion in activity with the fuller Djabugay operations and ensure review and enhancement of existing agenda is incorporated into economic extension work.
Provide monthly reporting that illustrates achievements and progression toward expectations of the project and informs upcoming necessary areas of focus.
