The Opportunity As the Strategic Sourcing & Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sourcing initiatives, managing product ranges, and optimising product lifecycle management. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supplier relationships, customer needs, and market trends. In this 12 full time fixed term contract, with longer-term permanent potential, you will have the opportunity to shape our product strategies and contribute to the success of our business goals for the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Supplier ManagementDevelop and execute sourcing strategies to align with business objectives.Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service.Product Planning & ManagementDefine and maintain an optimised product range based on customer insights and market trends.Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management, from concept to end-of-life.Collaborate with internal teams to align product strategies with brand positioning and business goals.Data-Driven Decision-MakingAnalyse product performance metrics and industry trends to identify gaps and opportunities.Provide regular reports and insights on sourcing, ranging, and product performance.Act as a key liaison between suppliers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.Drive a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.Your Background You are a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing and product management. You combine technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, product management, or a related discipline.Proficiency in procurement processes and lifecycle management tools.Skills & Attributes:Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.Advanced knowledge of contract negotiation and supplier management.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying focused on strategic goals.Why Join Us?
