Tradewind are working with a co-educational K-12 Catholic School in Marsden Park who are looking for one primary and one secondary teacher who are passionate about inclusive education. You will work alongside the diversity leader to ensure that diversity perspectives are incorporated into all aspects of school life. These are permanent positions with a flexible start date.
Key Responsibilities Ensuring age-appropriate, meaningful learning for all students.Supporting the Diversity Leader in identifying suitable teaching methods for students with additional needs.Collaborating to design and implement school programs with a focus on diversity.Helping classroom teachers identify and support vulnerable students.Developing personalized learning plans and monitoring progress for these students.Modeling inclusive teaching practices to enhance teachers' skills.Assisting in creating an inclusive learning environment that supports all students.Contributing to professional development for staff.Performing additional tasks as assigned by the principal or their delegate.Requirements Qualifications in inclusive education, or similar.Extensive experience as a classroom teacher.Expertise with CEDP's upper primary literacy and numeracy support programs, or similar.Or a willingness to learn the above.Prerequisites: Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)Have unrestricted working rights in AustraliaAbility to provide contact details for two education-based referencesStatements of serviceThe School: Around 1800 students from K-12State-of-the-art campus elevating the overall teaching and learning experienceProfessional development opportunitiesHow to apply: To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
