Part-time 19 hours per week, On-going positionWarrnambool Campus$91,124 per annum (pro-rata), plus superannuationThe Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Advisor plays a key role in supporting SWTAFE to foster a positive, diverse workforce, and promote a culture of inclusion and equality. As the primary source of DEI expertise, the Advisor provides DEI advice and guidance to the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, and staff across the organisation.
In addition, the DEI Advisor leads the coordination and implementation of SWTAFE's Diversity and Inclusion Plan and Gender Equity Plan. They work closely with the Manager of People and Culture to report progress on initiatives within these plans to the Executive and Board.
The must havesMandatory requirementsRelevant Degree and relevant post graduate qualification and experience, or a combination of lesser formal qualifications combined with substantial experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical and administrative fieldsSubstantial experience using Microsoft Office products, HRIS and e-recruitment systems, Internet based applications and database management softwareEmployee Victorian Working with Children and satisfactory Police CheckHighly desirable requirementsExperience in Vocational Education & Training (VET) IndustryAbout usSouth West TAFE is an education hub with a difference offering practical and inspiring teaching that prepares students for in-demand jobs now and into the future.
