Diverse Learning Teacher - Primary YearsDue to our increase in student enrolments, we have a need to grow our teaching staff and we are excited to advertise for the position of Primary Years Learning Support Teacher.
Northholm Grammar is an independent K-12 co-educational school situated in a beautiful and inspiring semi-rural environment at Arcadia in the north-west of Sydney.

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Teacher to join our Diverse Learning Department from the start of Term 1, 2025.
This position reports to the Head of Diverse Learning and ultimately the Principal.
The applicant must demonstrate: Ability to work across the Primary Years (K-6) to devise appropriate support programs for individual students.Ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate personalised education plans.Experience in NCCD procedures and the collection of data.Ability to provide classroom support for students with a range of diagnosed disabilities.Capacity to deliver programs and targeted intervention to individuals or small groups of students.Ability to implement and support disability provisions.Capacity to work cooperatively with Secondary Years teachers in the development of programs and teaching schedules.Ability to differentiate and/or modify units of work and assessment tasks for students with individual learning needs in collaboration with Primary teachers.Knowledge of the current Disability and Discrimination Act and Standards for Education.The ideal candidate would be: A collaborative team member.Enthusiastic and motivated.Ability to exercise judgment and work without supervision.A friendly and approachable manner.Applicants should possess the following: A tertiary qualification in Education.Experience working with children with additional learning needs or disabilities in a school setting.A current NSW Working with Children Check.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at the level required of all school staff.If you are interested in applying for this position and possess a commitment to the education of young people, please submit your cover letter, curriculum vitae and the names of three professional referees.
