Position Highlights The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximizing student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant, and holistic curriculum that is student-centered, flexible, and challenging. This 4 Days (0.8) allocation role is scheduled to commence on Friday 31 January 2025.
About You As a Diverse Learning Teacher, you will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative, and engaging pedagogy. The Diverse Learning Teacher promotes the school by supporting the learning of students with diverse learning needs and is required to work collaboratively with the leadership team and classroom teachers to develop appropriate and effective strategies and resources to support student learning.
Responsibilities: Provide inclusive and positive support for students with specific and identified additional learning needs.Maintain and communicate data on students' learning, including data from external and internal testing.Assist in the development of Personal Plans for students with identified additional learning needs.Work with Leadership in analyzing data to inform the development and implementation of strategies for students with identified additional learning needs.Promote the wellbeing of students and implement wellbeing programs to support them.Collaborate with teachers to modify classroom programs and implement teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of programs for students with diverse learning needs.Minimum Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Education.Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
