Our 3 multi million dollar purpose built dive vessels provide unquestionably the ver best outer reef liveaboard experience in Cairns.Currently we are seeking applications from PADI Dive Instructors to teach all levels of PADI courses. Preference will be given to INSTRUCTORS ELIGIBLE TO HOLD AN AUSTRALIAN WORKING HOLIDAY VISA OR AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS who are available for an immediate start.In keeping with the high level of professional service we provide, Instructors employed at Pro Dive Cairns are required to hold the following QUALIFICATIONS.A current and valid Working holiday Visa or Australia ResidentCurrent teaching status as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or higher rating.Nitrox Specialty instructorA current Australian Standard 2299 Diving medical (can be arranged in Cairns)A current Senior 1st aid certification. (PADI EFR or EFR INSTRUCTOR not valid)A current (12 months) certification in Oxygen Resuscitation.A valid motor vehicle driver licence, held for a minimum of three consecutive yearsCertificate in Occupational Health and Safety at Sea or STCW 95Recreational shipmasters licence.Cert 4 TAE or willing to attain this during employmentFurther we are seeking people with the following skills and personal attributes:Professional presentationGood Knowledge of all PADI courseGood sales skillsA boating background or sound knowledge of boats and boating skillsExperience in operations at Dive Holiday DestinationsVery Customer orientatedOutgoing but not overbearing personalityAbility to use own initiative and work unsupervisedOur selection process will involve a formal interview held in Cairns as well a 5 Day training/orientation trip to assess each candidates suitability to our organisationIf you are a PADI diving professional looking for a position in the diving industry and have the necessary qualifications, if you have the personal attributes Pro Dive Cairns is looking for please send your CV and cover letter to the online applications form via this page.
