About the role: We are seeking an experienced people leader to take on the role of District Sales Manager, where you will service our existing clients as well as develop new business and manage the team based in NSW.
You will provide the support, guidance and inspiration to achieve results, allowing you will utilise your technical expertise to assist with escalations and provide advice.

Ideally you will preferably have experience in: Managing and delivering district sales and profitability targets With your team, devising a business development strategy to maximise new opportunities Developing the current client base, leveraging our strong client relationships Grow your team's capability through coaching and professional development Ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of service excellence to customers Achieving the territory budget and growth goals Growing the territory through promotion of the company's value-added products and services By nature, you will demonstrate: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build, maintain and retain relationships across different groups at all levels of the organisation Exceptional team management skills and the ability to coach and develop people Customer centric and action oriented The ability to inspire and gain a diverse team's support and confidence Excellent presentation, financial and negotiation capabilities Technically, you will ideally have: A successful track record in people development and technical sales A Scientific or Engineering background would be advantageous Experience of working in the water industry would be beneficial Proven experience in dealing with large national and multi-national customers A full and valid driver's license The ability to travel, including overnight stays is a pre-requisite for the role About Ecolab: Every day, we make the world cleaner, safer and healthier – protecting people and vital resources.
