My client is an Australian grown and owned company with decades of presence in the Agricultural sector across the country. They are also one of New South Wales leading providers of irrigation products and services, and you will find them located in metro areas as well as regional locations throughout the nation. They work closely with farmers, retail outlets and end users, providing the very best solutions for various types of different agricultural requirements.

Position

The position of District Sales Manager has now become available due to company expansion. The position will be primarily focussed on bringing onboard new business and also taking over an existing territory with a standing portfolio of accounts. You will have the opportunity to represent the entire range of Agricultural products and services. Working autonomously from home and on the road, you will act as the trusted advisor to your clients, with a consultative sales approach.

The business is booming throughout New South Wales and therefore we are looking for a sales professional who can capitalise on this growth through growth of existing clients.

In order to be considered for the position it is essential for all candidates to have prior sales and account management experience. Experience within the Irrigation Industry or coming from a background in Horticulture would be highly beneficial.
Candidates must display the following:
Based in the Riverina region - preferably Griffith or Wagga Wagga Agricultural sales experience Irrigation - Horticulture - Agricultural product experience is highly beneficial Ability to work autonomously and efficiently Willing to travel interstate Proven account management skills Possess real drive, tenacity and ambition Excellent presentation and communication skills
