About the Opportunity
This role provides an opportunity to work with a great team of dedicated professionals and contribute towards SWSLHD's records management strategy.The position is shared on a part-time basis with the District's incumbent Right to Information and Records Manager.A busy role, you will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, be expert in working to timeframes and managing diverse expectations.What You'll be Doing
The position has two key focus areas:
Corporate Records ManagementThe District Right to Information and Records Manager (RTIRM) takes a leadership role in providing advice and guidance for the roll out of improvement strategies and solutions for the implementation of the SWSLHD electronic document records management system (eDRMS).The RTIRM oversees the records management framework and leads change management initiatives towards the development of improved information and records management awareness and processes across the organisation.This role is instrumental in working with stakeholders to design and deliver a records management strategy to drive forward-looking solutions for SWSLHD, and ensures a continuous improvement approach to evolving corporate information management systems and practices.Right to InformationThis position will ensure compliance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPAA).
The incumbent is responsible for managing all aspects of SWSLHD's GIPAA applications as well as providing education, support and guidance to all staff within SWSLHD in relation to GIPAA.Where You'll Be Working

Demonstrated understanding of the GIPAA, and State Records legislation and processes.Experience in coordination, assessment and determination of GIPAA applications.Experience in the use of the electronic Document Records Management System (eDRMS) such as TRIM/HP Records Manager, Content Manager or equivalent with Administrator level experience.Knowledge of records management requirements with the ability to migrate records to the eDRMS as well as coordinate the archiving and destruction of paper records in accordance with the State Records Authorities.Ability to develop, interpret and apply records management practices, including functional analysis and the preparation of disposal authorities.High level of negotiation, leadership skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and members of the public.Highly developed keyboard skills, proficient in programs such as Microsoft Office, in particular MS Word and Excel.Demonstrated capacity to organise a high level workload with competing priorities in a professional manner.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
