About the role and department: Sees over 9848 ED presentations, 3282 inpatient visits, and 7818 outpatient visits per year.Work in a multidisciplinary team environment with a combination of procedural and non-procedural District Medical Officers that are ACRRM or RACGP trained, Senior Medical Practitioners as well as Nurse Practitioners.Collaborative, friendly, and approachable team with wealth of experience in various prior roles worldwide.Every day is a different challenge rewarded with satisfaction of making a difference within the community.Successful candidate will have: AHPRA registration without limitations and fellowship of (ACRRM) or (RACGP)*Post graduate qualification in Anaesthetics (JCCA) and equivalent extensive experience.Undertake clinical duties in the Emergency Department and/or GP clinics at each hospital as well as being rostered on call as required.Demonstration and record of appropriate Emergency Department skill maintenance in the last triennium of completion of at least 1 of the following and evidence of continued professional development:ACLS (or equivalent)APLS (or equivalent)EMST (or equivalent)GCCA (or equivalent)*Applicants who are in their penultimate year of either RACGP or ACRRM training are encouraged to apply if their examination requirements have been passed and met.
