An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Auditor/Educator to join the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Coding Team.
The position provides coding auditing and education within the Clinical Coding team across NSLHD.

Where you'll be workingRoyal North Shore Hospital (with possible remote work)
What you'll be doingUndertake continuous audits and other coding quality activities relating to coding at facility and individual coder level, and provide feedback and education to coders and relevant stakeholders.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.Experience with coordination of quality activities, clinical coding auditing and analysing/validating audit results.High level of experience and competence in clinical classification using ICD-10-AM and ACHI with a thorough understanding of Australian Coding Standards.Ability to communicate and report on audit results to a range of stakeholders including clinicians, researchers, the LHD executive and other professionals.
