About the Role:Are you keen to secure a leadership role that offers variety and the opportunity to demonstrate your people skills and innovative approach within an organisation that has a meaningful purpose in the community? This full time, ongoing District Business Manager role may give you that opportunity. Positioned in our Seymour District 12 office you will be responsible for leading the provision of business management functions for District 12. You will actively develop and sustain internal and external partnerships and provide advice and direction to all stakeholders on key business functions within the district. Your days will see you work closely with the Regional Business Manager and other District Business Managers within the Region to ensure there is a consistent development and implementation of initiatives and processes across districts. As a member of the District Leadership Team, you will provide advice on a range of complex issues and contribute to the strategic and business planning for the District.You will also manage and lead the close-knit District Support Team to achieve high level customer support and corporate outcomes and build strong partnerships and relationships across CFA business units, sector partners, and external stakeholders. Further to this, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality customer service delivery and business continuity to the public and stakeholders, including understanding CFA legislation, policy and procedures and providing appropriate high-level advice.About You: Tertiary qualifications in business administration, management or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.Extensive experience in business administration/ office management or relevant discipline, including experience in managing business support services and resources.Demonstrated experience in the management of business plans within the constraints of a budget.Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop a high performing team and a strong team environment.Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally and significant experience in the resolution of complex issues.Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills including the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.Highly developed organisational skills within a complex environment together with demonstrated skills in establishing priorities and meeting strict timelines.Demonstrated ability to develop and manage business systems and processes to enhance service delivery capability and outcomes.
