Office Management (Administration & Office Support) The primary purpose of the position of the District Business Manager is to be responsible for leading the provision of business management functions at Fire Rescue Victoria's Western District 3 Office, Geelong.

The successful incumbent will work closely with the District Assistant Chief Fire Officer (ACFO), Senior Manager Business Services, Operations staff and other District Business Managers to ensure consistent development and implementation of initiatives, policy and processes across districts.
As a member of the District Leadership Team, the District Business Manager will provide advice on a range of complex issues and contribute to the strategic, financial and business planning for the district.
This position will also manage and lead the district support team to achieve high level customer support and corporate outcomes at a district level in accordance with FRV policy and procedure.
This role will suit someone with the capability of building strong partnerships and relationships across FRV business units, sector partners and external stakeholders.
What you will need to Succeed To be successful in this position, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in business administration, management or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.Extensive experience in business administration / office management or relevant discipline, including experience in managing business support services and resources.Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (SAP, ECC6 preferred).Demonstrate high level of proficiency with MS Office products including Excel data analysis, manipulation and reporting, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage business systems and processes to enhance service delivery and outcomes.Serving the Community, valuing teamwork, having integrity, showing respect and being accountable are core values at Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV).
