We're looking for a Distribution Team Manager to join us in Nashco!

The primary focus of the role is to provide sound leadership and support to a small team of skilled warehouse operators, while maintaining a high level of service to Nashco Customers.
Reporting directly through to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders from Client Support, Production, Sales and Finance, HR and Training.
The role on offer is a great opportunity to work in a fast moving and diverse business, playing a pivotal role in leading and managing the warehouse operations.
We are offering a fulltime position with immediate start for the right candidate. What will you be doing? Provide leadership, guidance, and day to day management to all warehouse and distribution employees, including performance management.Lead WHS to embed a positive and proactive safety culture within business area.Effective and efficient allocation of labor to areas/routes daily to ensure on-time deliveries.High-volume stock management to ensure inventory records are consistently accurate.Guide the Nashco Continuous Improvement Program and apply LEAN principles to reduce waste.What will you need? Ability to motivate and manage a team and successful track record hiring and developing talent.Excellent IT skills with experience managing compliance, safety, rostering and all other warehouse management administrative requirements.You are known for your eye for detail and high level of accuracy.You have a flexible and open-minded approach.A "customer-centric" focus is a must.Building, engineering or industrial manufacturing background would be highly advantageous.How to apply: To apply for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter through Seek.
