Your trade qualification can be either a Distribution Powerline Worker or Electrical Fitter Mechanic.

Start-up tasks and operate plant and equipmentStreetlighting maintenance and installation and pole replacement and dressing poleWorking at heights (overhead switching, overhead transformer replacement)Overhead switching, operating and maintaining/ replacing switchgearFault finding/ testing and inspectionsAbout youTo be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Trade Qualification as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Distribution Powerline WorkerSound knowledge of construction and maintenance practices for the underground and overhead distribution networkExperience in installation, repair and maintenance of both overhead and underground substationsDemonstrated ability to work as part of a teamPersonal commitment to working safely and good knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures covering field operationsCurrent MR driver's licenceCustomer-centric approachThe following would be highly desirable:
