Distribution Planner

APG Workforce is seeking a highly organized and proactive Distribution Planner

to join our team in Wulkuraka, Ipswich.
This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, efficient stock management, and excellent communication across various departments.Job Opportunity: Distribution Planner Location: Wulkuraka, IpswichHours: Start times between 6.00 am to 7.00 am Monday to FridayPar rate: $37.95 + Super

Key Responsibilities

Allocate stock to customers and the sales team based on daily and promotional requirements.
Provide guidance to the Distribution Team for effective daily stock management.
Produce forecasts for sales demand, including standard sales, promotional activities, and special events.
Liaise with the National Planning Team to meet weekly site requirements.
Process orders based on sales demand forecasts and national production plans.
Coordinate with production sites and distribution teams to ensure supply meets demand.
Collaborate with Customer Service, National Sales, and Local Sales Teams to ensure smooth operations.
Identify and resolve supply chain issues by working closely with production sites, sales teams, and senior management.
Ensure timely delivery of customer orders or communicate any supply issues to relevant teams.
Meet MOS deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement efforts through problem solving.

Requirements: Proven experience in a distribution, logistics, or planning role.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Experience in forecasting, stock allocation, and supply chain management is highly regarded.
