Job Description We have a great opportunity for a Distribution Lead within our Polymers business to manage activities and requirements with our suppliers and 3PL partners, to ensure customer needs are met within our growing market.  You will coordinate the Polymers business' supply chain activities relating to the transport, receiving, storage, repackaging and delivery of our portfolio of domestically manufactured and imported products.
You will make commercially driven decisions to optimise activities and liaise with Sales and Planning to achieve optimal results in a high paced environment.   You will manage 3PL relationships and activities including storage, repacking, and distribution of all Viva polymer products across Australia, NZ and for Exports to achieve safe, reliable, and cost competitive delivery to customers.  Through data and collaboration, you will drive fit for purpose operational solutions which underpin our CVP in market.
Responsibilities & Requirements Maintain and drive a safety obsessed culture with our 3PL providers Build relationships and manage day to day coordination of activities with 3PL's including KPI and service level monitoring, management and reporting.
Drive cost efficiencies through identification, development and execution of business improvement initiatives Manage domestic container fleet to optimise stock rotation, and the unpacking of import containers to minimise detention costs Manage & coordinate repacking/resizing and interstate transfers of stock to balance costs versus customer needs.
Work with Customer Service, Sales and Suppliers for urgent delivery management and prioritisation of activities Ensure successful onboarding/first delivery of new customers Manage the export stock and interstate/NZ distribution of polymers with 3PLs Develop and manage internal reporting to deliver insights and identify opportunities for improvement Qualifications Effective time management and prioritisation of work to deliver supply chain outcomes.
Analyse insights and data into easily understood business opportunities Develop relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders internally and externally to add value to Polymers Supply Chain.

Experience working with or in a warehousing/3PL environment would be an advantage but not essential.
