It covers 17,500M2 of storage capacity together with efficient and ergonomic equipment like the new fleet of Materials Handling Equipment, and a full Green SITE facility, servicing various industries covering every sector imaginable including mining, hospitals, utilities, data centres and just about everything in-between.
We have an exciting leadership opportunity to run our Distribution Centre and lead a high performing team. This position is a key leadership role to ensure 100% on time delivery of materials from the receiving of goods to internal and external customers. We're appealing to the team manager with a track record of frontline management and someone who has a safety mind set.
So, what exactly will you be doing? You'll lead the Distribution Centre team and implement sustainable stock movement systems which includes managing inventory stock control within lean principles in line with key organizational performance indicators.
Your specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Communicate and drive activities from the strategic plan to ensure improvement targets are met Assist in the development of project teams to ensure strategic plan and continuous improvement activities are achieved Communication of direction, progress against production plan, initiatives, changes and successes Build and maintain working relationships at all levels to ensure harmonious industrial relations As the ideal applicant, you will have: Cert III or IIII in Front Line Management or relevant certificate/ experience Demonstrated experience in managing a Distribution Centre and people management Experience in the implementations of quality systems and tools Intermediate knowledge of ERP flows In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation Highly developed technical problem-solving capability complemented by an authentic and passionate customer-centric approach At Schneider Electric we put customers first, embrace differences and act like owners.
