We work closely withAustralian and international businesses, organisations andgovernments.About the roleWe are currently looking for an Associate/Senior Associate (4+PQE) to join our Dispute Resolution & Litigation team inour Canberra office. In this role you will be involved in a diverserange of litigation and public law matters, includingadministrative review, commercial litigation, investigations andadvising. Our focus is providing sound and practical advice forpublic sector clients.The work is interesting, complex and challenging which will seeyou working closely alongside exceptional litigators andlike-minded professionals in a collaborative team environment withcolleagues across Maddocks' national offices. You will berecognised for personal achievements and receive mentoring toensure your professional skills continue to grow and develop.About youIdeally you will have public sector and / or civil litigationexperience, knowledge of court practice and processes and you willbe confident in utilising your proven analytical and draftingskills. Someone who is strategic, can draft persuasively and has aclient focused attitude will find themselves succeeding in thisrole.In addition you will have:An enquiring and curious approach to workLitigation and / or administrative review experience(advisory, litigation, mediation, arbitration, hearings)Strong technical, drafting and research skillsSound judgment and a can-do attitudeImpressive academic qualificationsAn engaging manner with excellent communication skills atall levelsStrong attention to detailMaddocks is simply a great place to do great work.
