Apply now and become part of our team!As a Dispatch Officer, your responsibilities will include:Liaising with external transport providers to forecast and book equipment to meet daily dispatch requirements.Consolidating packed products as per customer orders and coordinating loading of trailers/containers.Ensuring all trailers/containers are loaded in accordance with legislated weight requirements.Completing booking forms, con notes, delivery dockets, CHEP dockets, load plans, and any other dispatch documentation.Transmitting dispatch documentation via email/fax to relevant personnel.Printing crate and pallet labels for retail products and assisting with pallet ticketing.Monitoring cool rooms to ensure correct temperatures and recording results on checklists.Coordinating the storage of packed and binned products in appropriate cool rooms prior to dispatch.Ensuring cool rooms are maintained in a tidy manner and stock is stored safely and orderly.Rotating stock through cool rooms to dispatch oldest products first.Other duties as requested by the Site Supervisor.We're not just offering a job; we're providing a package that values your skills and dedication.Your Skills & Experience: To thrive in this role, you will need:Good command of English, both verbal and written.Ability to commit to the entire season.A forklift license is desired but not essential.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Previous experience in berry picking or similar agricultural work (preferred)If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in dispatch coordination, apply now!
