Part-Time Dispatch Administrator We are a 19 year old company which imports and distributes an exclusive pet food brand to vets and pet stores in Australia and New Zealand. We are passionate about our fabulous premium products and focus heavily on pet owner education to improve the welfare outcomes in the herbivorous species we feed.
The Position: 22 hours per week (8:30 - 2:30 * 4 days – closed Thursdays)Small family businessGenuinely caring pet brand with passionate customer followingWe are seeking a responsible, mature minded administration officer with professional polish who is looking for a long-term role they can master.
The primary focus of this position is daily fulfillment of B2B customer orders from point of order through invoicing, payment and freight dispatch, ensuring this occurs in a professional, accurate and expeditious manner. You will need to be a natural with numbers and savvy with our ERP system. You will be our customer's first point of contact through phone and e-mail and enjoy helping people.
Responsibilities include: Providing high level customer support to our retail partnersAdministration of our order processing including data entry, invoicing, order checking and back order managementFollowing-up on customer inquiries - shipping quotes, delivery and ETA queries, resolution of order issues and payment processingBooking and coordinating freight movements with our transport partnersLiaising with accounts officer, working closely with warehouse team and prioritising orders.Management of B2B online portal Developing close business relationships with our vendors and stakeholdersOther miscellaneous activities to drive continuous improvementGeneral office support, as required Experience and Requirements: Professional standard written and verbal skills, excellent phone mannerERP system invoicing experience is highly regarded Consistent, high-level attention to detail and accuracy, strong numeracy skills High standard of computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.Efficient and dependable with strong customer service focusIndependent mindset and the ability to work happily in a small team environmentAbility to plan, organise and schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines and commitments are metHonest, hardworking with a generally up-beat dispositionGenuine care for animals and the people who love themCommitted to environmentally responsible business practicesFit and capable of lifting 20kg boxes when required (not routine but sometimes necessary) Must be an Australian resident with full work rights.
