About the Role: We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our fast-paced, dynamic cafe kitchen on a Permanent Part-Time basis, working 4 days per week.
Ideal days of work will be Sun, Tue, Wed and Thu (0900 to 1600 each day); but this is negotiable for the right candidate.
Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the below:
Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. Keeps dish area organized and free of clutter. Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks. Monitors rubbish bins throughout shift, making sure to remove full bins and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift. Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures. Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise. Skills & Experience: Previous dishwashing experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant is mandatory. Strong work ethic, with a self-starter attitude. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Friendly, positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
