We are currently looking to appoint a Disaster Preparedness Lead to join our team and provide support for Peel Health Campus (PHC).
Under the leadership of the Area Manager Disaster Preparedness and Management, you will provide expertise in establishing and leading the implementation of an emergency management and Business Continuity framework across PHC. As a key member of the Disaster Preparedness and Management Team, you will support a variety of strategic, operational, and service improvement issues. You will also lead the engagement of senior clinical staff and facility operations leaders to ensure emergency management strategies remain current and reflect existing and evolving risk.
Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia's most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital and now operates with 206 licensed beds, bays, and treatment areas.
This role also commits to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with the WA Health Code of Conduct, the SMHS Vision of Excellent health care, every time, and Values of Care (Kaaradj), Integrity (Ngwidam), Respect (Kaaratj), Excellence (Beli-beli), and Teamwork (Yaka-dadjoo).
