Disability Support Worker (Part-time and casual opportunities available)

Services (Community Access and In-Home Support)
Our Day Services Programs are designed to assist people with a disability to live independently, participate in the community, achieve their goals, and most importantly have FUN ! We provide support ranging from in-home care, to transport, community access, and personal care.

What is Drums Alive? Drums Alive offers engaging group activities for individuals with disabilities to build and improve on social skills, form long-lasting friendships, develop emotional and self-regulation abilities and be a part of a community that works together – all while jamming to their favourite beats! Our experienced coaches will deliver a meaningful, multi-sensory program for every single person, no matter their ability.

A Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care , or be enrolled in your second year of study towards your higher qualification in a relevant field (required ) Experience with challenging behaviours 1 year's experience within the Health, Care and/or Disability industry (required ) (behaviours and mental health experience preferred) A Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (required ) NDIS Worker Screen Check (required ) Valid Australian Driver Licence (Red Provisional – minimum) (required ) Why work for us?
