Disability Support Workers - Armstrong CreekAbout the Role:
Join us as a Disability Support Worker in a new Supported Independent Living location in Armstrong Creek.
You'll be providing essential 1:2 support to two male participants who are transitioning to living independently.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your well-developed life skills and experience in epilepsy management and medication assistance to empower these young men as they learn household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and more.
Who We're Looking For:
We're searching for team members who are supportive, encouraging, and skilled at multi-tasking and problem-solving.
A passion for teaching life skills and helping clients achieve greater independence is essential, along with an ability to connect with participants around their hobbies and interests.
Your Skills and Experience: Proficiency in epilepsy management and medication assistanceExcellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to mentor and guide participants in life skills like cooking, cleaning, and budgetingPositive and proactive approach with a passion for empowering clientsSet Rosters:
