About this role: Programmed Care are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers to work ongoing rosters with clients in the Gungahlin community. We have a variety of shifts available with ongoing rosters developed in advance. This is a rewarding opportunity where you can really make a difference in the lives of your clients & empower them to achieve their goals. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Personal care
PEG feeding
Medication
Nebulisers
Chest physiotherapy
Supervision during meals (Dysphasia)
Key criteria:
Current Certificate III or IV Aged care, Individual Care, Disability or Community Care
Experience with clients with complex needs in an Aged Care or Community setting
Experience working with children in a professional setting
Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and current car insurance
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Workers Clearance (Or willing to obtain)
Working with Children Check
