What you need: Experience supporting people with complex physical & intellectual disabilities in a SIL settingCert III in Individual Support or relevantAustralian Driver's License - South Australian class CFirst Aid CertificateCPRNDIS Worker Screening CheckManual handling TrainingMedication Training Face to Face trainingNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleWorking with Children Check (paid employment)Reliable smart phone with dataOverview of the role: Provide day-to-day support to people with a disability in a SIL environment to help them improve their independence and achieve their goals.24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts – morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), overnight (predominately sleep overs)6am - 9am, 2pm - 8pm, 4pm - 10pm, & sleep overs shifts to be coveredAssist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, use of manual handling equipment, medication assistance, domestic assistance, meals.Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP)Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.Must be able to drive company vans to transport participants to community-based outings.What we can offer you: Pay rates, terms and conditions better than any other staffing agency across Adeliade.
