The Role:We are currently recruiting Disability Support Workers to support our male participant located in Tamworth, NSW. Our participant sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) due to a motor vehicle accident and requires assistance with all aspects of daily life.
The current roster is split into two shifts across seven days and includes:
Day shifts: 0700 - 1500Afternoon shifts: 1500 - 2200Pay Rates: Day - $40.00 per hourAfternoon - $44.00 per hourSaturday - $56.00 per hourSunday - $72.00 per hourKey Responsibilities: Assistance/Prompting with personal careAssistance with health & rehab exercisesAssistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparationCommunity accessSocial supportMentoring and guidanceImplementing Positive Behaviour Support PlanSkills & Experience: Reliable, proactive, and positive attitudeExperience with challenging behavioursNDIS Supporting Effective Communication ModuleNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleNDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent National Police ClearanceFirst Aid & CPR CertificateAustralian Driver LicenceCurrent WWCCPlease note: two current references are required.
