You might get paid more than you think, and you can pick up additional shifts when they suit you!A day in the life of a Residential Accommodation Disability Support worker at Yooralla.Working towards clients' goals, assisting with shopping, appointments and events, and supporting daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene and mobility.
We're looking for people who are passionate, have a great attitude and an eagerness to learn.
You'll share Yooralla's values and have:
a positive approach, initiative and self-motivationwillingness to empower our clients to reach their goals, and to uphold quality and safeguards in your everyday workeffective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clientsability to work collaboratively in a diverse teamwillingness to support clients with personal care activitiesAustralian Driver Licencethe right to work in AustraliaThe ability to get a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you don't already have one.A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience or an interest in community services would be great, if you already have any of these.

You will be subject to NDIS Worker Screening Check.
