Job DescriptionSupport Workers/Care Team required to join our growing care team for our clients all across metropolitan Melbourne. Multiple shift types are available and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required for the client. Casual roles are now available and we are also happy to partner with independent contract carers who love being self-employed but also enjoy having regular secure work by partnering with a larger service provider. RequirementsTo be considered for this role, we require you to hold:
Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged CareNDIS Worker Screening CheckNational Police CheckWorking with Children CheckFirst Aid certificate and CPRNDIS Workers Orientation (preferred)Eligibility to work in AustraliaFully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidenceCurrent full Driver's licenseCompetencies and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experiencePrevious experience supporting People with DisabilityDemonstrated proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamAbility to prioritise effectively and organise own work/caseloadDemonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practicePay rates vary based on the day of the week & shift type, but rest assured we like to recognise our carers' skills & experience.
Our Support Worker rates typically exceed the SCHADS award rates + penalties.
