Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support to individuals living with disabilities.
Help clients to achieve their personal goals and independence.
Assist in social, recreational, and community participation activities.
Manage challenging behaviours and provide tailored support based on individual care plans.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Essential Requirements:
Current Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Community Care.
Experience with clients who have complex needs in an Aged Care or Community setting.
Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and current car insurance.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Desirable Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, understanding, and ability to manage challenging behaviours.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of professionalism and reliability.
