Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live as independently as possible. You will work closely with clients and their families to create individualised care plans and implement strategies to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications and medical treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Provide support with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping. Plan and implement social and recreational activities to enhance clients' quality of life. Maintain accurate records of clients' progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals and/or family members. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment for clients. Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Current first aid and CPR certification.
