About Your New Role: As a member of our casual disability support services team in Toowoomba, you'll play a crucial role in assisting customers with complex needs.
You will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential.
Each day will be unique, but shifts may include assistance with personal care, household duties, cooking and medication management.
Above all, you will provide companionship and build meaningful, caring relationships.
About You: Excels in support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access.
Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Has experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, and handling mental health challenges.
Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease.
Is flexible and can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights.
You will need or be willing to obtain: A current Open Driver's Licence.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
1 year experience in the Disability Sector providing services to individuals with complex needs.
