Our client is a young woman living with mental health challenges who needs experienced and compassionate carers (both male and female) to provide her support. Experience in mental health
will be highly regarded. Carers need to be able to implement positive behaviour support plans; therefore, previous experience will be highly regarded. You will be working independently and in a team and have the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends. The position job type is casual. Shift length is 8 hours and flexible. General Duties
As directed by the Client Service Manager, and in line with the client's NDIS goals, duties may include: Personal care Write and submit required reports Community access Other duties as required

Being friendly and patient with people living with disabilities. Professional attitude and willing to learn and be committed to continuous personal development. Skills and Competencies
Competent writing, comprehension, and verbal skills. Confident use of hoist and mobility aids. Proficient computer skills, with easy access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Ability to follow instructions and work within the limitations of the position. Ability to work independently. Requirements
Either have or be willing to obtain a Certificate III in Disability First Aid and CPR Current Queensland driver's license Reliable vehicle You will be required to apply for or hold a current blue card and yellow card (or NDIS Worker Screening) NDIS Worker Orientation Module
