Position Details Location: Upper Sturt, 5156, South Australia Shifts: Cover 3 shifts across the following roster: Monday - 9:00am-12:00pm and 5:30pm-8:30pm Thursday - 5:30pm-8:30pm Friday - 5:30pm-8:30pm Saturday - 9:00am-12:00pm and 5:30pm-8:30pm Multiple positions available Key Responsibilities: Provide high quality support for a female customer with complex autism level 3 and behavioural needs, following established Behavioural Quality Care Plans. Use positive behaviour support strategies, understand restrictive practices, and follow guidelines set by the customer's Behavioural Support Plan (BSP) Experience in trauma informed care Follow customer's stringent routines Transport the customer in their own vehicle to appointments and outings as required. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support Experience in trauma informed care and restrictive practices Extensive demonstrated experience supporting individuals with autism, functional gait and catatonia Knowledge of behavioural support practices, restrictive practices, and experience following detailed care plans Understanding of the Quality & Safeguards Commission's standards CPR certificate completed in the last 12 months First Aid certificate completed in the last 3 years Manual Handling completed in the last 12 months NDIS workers screening South Australian Working with Children screening NDIS Workers Orientation Module NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and willing to drive customer's vehicle Ability to work across various 3 hour shifts as listed above Female customer, requesting female support workers over the age of 25 Benefits Supportive, rewarding, and friendly work environment Salary packaging benefits (up to $15,899 tax free) Relevant behaviour support training provided Member led organisation – our customers are also on our board A Little About Us: For 30 years, Enhanced Lifestyles has been delivering individualised, high-quality support across South Australia, empowering people with disabilities to live independently and make choices that matter.
