Disability Support Worker

The Role Centacare's Whyalla site presents an opportunity for an experienced Disability Support Worker (DSW) to join us on a casual basis.
We offer services including the Independent Living Program in their own accommodation of choice, and 24/7 supported accommodation services.
In this role, you'll assist our clients by providing services and support aimed at maximizing their independence at home and in the community.
You'll also help strengthen their relationships with family and social networks and facilitate opportunities for them to work towards achieving personal goals.

Other Responsibilities Include Supervise and support clients with daily living activities and personal care needs, either individually or as part of a team.
Facilitate community access opportunities for clients, including social events and medical appointments.
Maintain accurate documentation to monitor and report on client progress and health.
