About the RoleAs a Disability Support Worker at FLDS, your role will encompass:
Community Access: Assisting participants in engaging with their community through social, recreational, and educational activities. Self-Care Assistance: Providing personal support with daily living activities to ensure comfort and independence. Home Care Assistance: Helping with household tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Duties may expand as FLDS engages in further services.
Key Focus Areas Supporting participants to safely engage in the community and complete Active Daily Living tasks (ADLs). Upholding participants' dignity of choice while understanding and adhering to duty of care principles. Maintaining accurate and timely support records and record keeping.
