Disability Support Worker

Seeking reliable and passionate Support workers for our participant in Caboolture.
Qualifications: CERT 3 / 4 Relevant experience NDIS card First Aid and CPR McArthur Community Care is a Registered NDIS Provider in Queensland. We specialise in delivering individualised and flexible supports through a holistic and person-centred approach to maintain independence and social connection with the community. We are committed to providing the highest quality of service to maintain people's independence, choice and control.
We are seeking Reliable, Enthusiastic, Motivated and Professional individuals in Caboolture.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur, you will be required to assist people with:
Personal care - showering, dressing, grooming Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people Applicants will require: Relevant Industry experience working with clients who have a physical disability Certificate III in Individual Support; Disability Cert IV or equivalent Current Working with children blue card and NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain Current First Aid & CPR Certificates Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain Medication Certificates/experience will be looked at favourably Valid Driver's License Covid vaccination Flu vaccination Training/credentials in Bowel care/PEG feeding and medication administration would be beneficial We are hiring for immediate start, so if this position sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
