Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development) Position: Casual Disability Support Worker

As a Disability Support Worker at Bamara, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Moree.
This casual position within the Community Services department requires compassion, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those with disabilities.
Responsibilities: Providing direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities according to their individualised NDIS plans.Assisting clients with daily activities while promoting independence and community participation.Supporting clients in developing life skills, including personal care, household tasks, and social interactions.Implementing strategies to address challenging behaviours and promote positive outcomes for clients.Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on client progress and any incidents or concerns.Engaging with clients in a respectful and person-centred manner to understand their needs and preferences.Delivering high-quality support services that align with the goals outlined in each client's NDIS plan.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, families, and other service providers to ensure holistic care for clients.Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements related to disability support services.If you are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and possess strong communication skills along with a genuine desire to empower others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Disability Support Worker at Bamara.
